hey all! im back with results from mid years! did not that well and not that bad la. i got 3 A1s, 2 B4s, 1 C5, 1 C6. still havent got back my english though. i actually did better than i expected from last year. i got 2 more A1s and i passed my a maths! anyway, yesterday we had this really long and boring assembly about the recent natural disasters. they were telling us about how cyclones and earthquakes occur. how boring. i bet at least 80% of the lower sec didn't understand what was being said. at least some of the upper sec understood the earthquake stuff la. the cyclones i guess nobody really knew about it. anyway it was overall quite a waste of time la. they should have just gone straight to the humanitarian efforts instead of teaching us all the geog stuff. then mr simen went to share about what he felt and as usual, it was long and everyone kinda got shot la. cos he said we did not respect the teachers(which i agree, to a certain extent cos not everyone was talking) because we were talking and it was a sign of insult. then blahblahblah. fill in the blanks yourself. cant remember his entire speech.
now to the results! i got A1 for history and maths as expected and i got A1 for my combined humans as well! shocker. oh and guess whats the other shocker. i got 43 for my modern world history paper. thats like, 7 marks from full marks. im still wondering how i did it. and one more thing! venga got 45 for the elec geog paper. that seriously came as a shocker to everyone. like seriously. we were like, wth? u sure bo? siao one la. anyway grats to him and the rest of the geog class. oh and i got a B4 for my amaths which i scored F9 last year. jumped 5 grades yeah! and then there are the disappointments. i got C5 for chem and C6 for physics. i don't know how i did so badly la. looks like i need to study harder. anyway im just hoping i get an A2 or B3 for my english so that i get like 14 or 15 for my L1R5.
now with the results out of the way. to the classroom fun we had! it was crazy i say. everyone who went for the what happens in vegas movie was re-enacting the scene of the guy getting his balls punched. haha. then king man came up with the craziest phrase of all. THIS IS MADNESS! no, this is PRINGLES! why pringles u might ask. well for a simple reason, the joke was meant to make fun of me who didn't get to eat a single piece of pringles which i bought(courtesy of jeremy leong) last year when everyone came over to my house for halo3 after extra lessons. totally random i say. RANDOM. and everyone's using it now. thats how fast random stuff spreads in my class. like a bush fire. well cos it was started by a bush himself. inside joke of e1 only. shhhhhh. hahaha. anyway im going to go do something else and shall end the post here. remember to tag yeah?
